Dual grip, inside & out
Grip on both sides helps cut down movement between your foot, sock and cleat, so there's less slipping and rubbing pulling your attention away from the game.
When your foot shifts inside your sock and your sock shifts inside your cleat, the rubbing turns into hot spots and blisters. Dual Grip holds foot, sock and cleat together so there's less of it.
Keeping the sock in place is only part of the job. These socks are designed around what happens between your foot, your sock and your cleat together.
Grip on both sides helps cut down movement between your foot, sock and cleat, so there's less slipping and rubbing pulling your attention away from the game.
Instead of thick, raised grip pads, flocking is designed to sit flatter underfoot while still helping keep your feet secure.
Cushioned construction gives players who prefer a softer, fuller feel inside their cleats more comfort through practices, games and tournament days.
Because keeping the sock in place is only part of the job, Eighty Labs is designed around the foot-to-sock-to-cleat setup, not just the sock.
Grip only works on the surfaces it touches. A regular soccer sock holds neither. A standard grip sock holds one: the cleat. Eighty Labs holds both.
No "X% more traction" claims. We publish what the sock is made of and how it's built, so you can compare it to anything else out there.
The goal isn't to keep reminding you that you're wearing grip socks. It's to let your setup feel right so you can get on with playing.
Grip on both sides helps cut down the movement and rubbing that can leave your feet sore after time on the field.
Low-profile flocking is designed to sit flatter underfoot, without bulky pads pressing into your feet.
With less slipping, rubbing and readjusting to deal with, you can keep more of your attention on the game.
Your soccer schedule doesn't stop for laundry. Choose the rotation that fits how often you play and keep fresh pairs ready without paying the one-time price every time.

Shop grip socksStart with clean, dry feet and put them on directly against your skin so the inside grip can sit flat. Smooth out the heel, toe and sole so there's no bunching inside your cleats. Then give them a full practice session before game day so you know exactly how the fit and grip feel.
No. An extra layer gets between your foot and the inside grip and can make your cleats feel tighter. If you need a team colour on the shin, wear a cut-off team sock as a sleeve over the top instead.
No. Dual grip can help cut down unwanted movement, but it can't correct cleats that are the wrong size or shape. Your cleats should feel snug, not cramped.
